Rachelle has actively been Planning & Coordinating weddings and events throughout Northern California for over a decade. Her experience in the corporate world makes her knowledgeable about budgeting, organizing, consulting, timelines, coordinating, and execution. Her love for travel and artistic movement allows her to think outside the box and create a vision with style and elegance.

Rachelle’s educational achievements such as a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies and a Masters of Arts in Human Resource Management with an emphasis on Organizational Development gives her the skills and ability to interpret contracts, multi-task, and maintain positive vendor relationships. Her cool and calm demeanor has been noted as an asset on wedding day to keep Bride’s worry free. She resides in Elk Grove, CA with her husband and two children. When she is not at a wedding she is an avid lover of Yoga, sports, dance, and a good Cabernet!

Korbyn Winchester

Event Lead & Social Media Coordinator

Korbyn was born and raised in the Sacramento area and first started coming to the Old Sugar Mill as a guest far before being hired to our event team in Spring 2020. She began planning events while in college, but loves planning weddings the most.
When she is not at work, Korbyn enjoys cooking, cycling, wine tasting, and having game night with her family and friends.

Amy McGee-Moser

Wedding Event Sales & Venue Coordination

Amy has been in the Hospitality Industry for over 15 years, holding roles such as: Catering and Convention Services Manager, Director of Catering, and owner of her own Event Planning Company.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Recreation, Tourism and Hospitality Management and also earned certificates in Event and Wedding Planning.
Her six years experience in retail management, merchandising, and sales compliments her roles in the Event Planning industry. She is able to fuel her creative energy by delivering superb customer service and making her clients happy.

Katie Berlin

Winery Communications Venue Event Lead

Katie has thrived in the hospitality industry for just shy of a decade. Discovering her passion for events drove her to complete her Bachelor of Science in Recreation Administration with a focus on Special Events Management. Her experience in fine dining has assisted her in delivering exceptional hospitality, providing keen attention to detail, and the ability to multitask. Katie’s background in tasting rooms and wineries sparked her enthusiasm for all things wine.

Her roles in Tasting Room Management, Marketing, and Event Coordinating taught her to take initiative and how to adapt to any situation. When she isn’t at the Old Sugar Mill she enjoys exploring new places, cooking, and enjoying a glass of wine with family and friends!

Kiah Burger

Event Assistant

Hello Everybody, my name is Kiah, I an event assistant here at the OSM.

I was born and raised here in Sacramento but, have lived in the East-coast some of my life as well. I am a city girl with some country girl hospitality, I am currently in College about to graduate with my AA degree in Social Science. I stepped out of my career as a preschool teacher back in late 2022 and started studying more to be a project manager.

After taking and completing courses to obtain my project manager certificate, I found a new form love of planning and coordinating events. Even though I am new in this field, I am excited to embark on this new journey that I have found my passion in and I am looking forward to possibly working with you.
